Autumn in the Nordic region’s premier parks

When the summer flowers start to fall together comes a new time of reflection and rest in the gardens. It’s still harvest theme in many of the parks but also the beautiful color changing in nature makes its entrance. From the burgeoning green to bright yellow and red autumn colors. Take the opportunity to experience even more of the green year in our beautiful parks around Gothenburg and the region even during the darker seasons.

Gunnebo House and Gardens in Mölndal harvest vegetables from the kitchen garden and offers the most delicious dishes. Take the opportunity to take an inspiring walk around the park. Land art installations are still there and gets a new light in the autumn sun, like in the Botanical Garden where the nature near the much-loved land art will remain.

The greenhouses are full of exotic plants that look their best now when the cold is creeping upon us, the moist and life giving warmth inside both the Palm House at the Garden Society and the Botanical Garden well stocked tempered glass house.

The autumn and winter program offers an inspiring range including spring bulb workshops, guided walks out in the gardens and a rich Halloween theme at Liseberg which opens on 21 October.
